Uncovering the chemical causes of behavior, and the complex ways we function and dysfunction, is my greatest interest and joy. Just as science has brought clarity and comfort to my life, I hope to provide that same peace to others by helping to expand our collective knowledge of the mechanisms behind cognitive decline and other diseases of the mind.

As an undergraduate researcher in the Kaczorowski lab, I am thrilled to work with brilliant mentors as they push the boundaries of scientific understanding. I love working with translational models, including transgenic mice, to explore the genetic and biochemical alterations that produce different phenotypes. I am excited to continue to work with in vivo models utilizing the Kaczorowski lab’s AD-BXD mouse model, and learn about measuring cognition in live mice to ultimately develop better treatment models for Alzheimer's disease in humans!

In my free time, I love to ski, read books (when I should be doing homework), cook new things, and play with my dog Luna. I could not feel luckier to be a part of this lab team, and I am so excited for the future of science.
