Research Lab Tech
I graduated with a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Michigan Technological University in 2024. Even as an undergraduate student I knew I wanted to pursue academia and research, joining a biomaterials lab my sophomore year and continuing to work in that lab through my graduation. I originally specialized in polymer science and tissue engineering in this lab, while also studying mechanobiology at University of Pennsylvania as part of the CEMB REU program. In the future I plan to earn my PhD and focus on studying reproductive diseases like endometriosis and the chronic pain these conditions cause.
Currently in the Kaczorowski lab I am working with the Patch-sequencing/Patch-proteomics team to investigate electrophysical conditions, morphology, and proteomics on a cellular level and determining its link to cognitive health
When not in the lab, I enjoy creative outlets like sculpting and sewing as well as playing video games with my siblings.
