Sara Smith

Undergraduate Researcher

I am a senior at the University of Michigan pursuing a B.S in Neuroscience and graduating in May 2024. After graduation, I hope to one day attend medical school and become a doctor. Understanding how the body communicates with itself is something I have always been fascinated in, and pursuing a B.S in Neuroscience has only deepened my interest and expanded my curiosity in the topic. I am genuinely thrilled to have the opportunity to contribute to the work being done in the Kaczorowski Lab where I am working to understand the gut-brain connection in relation to Alzheimer's disease progression.

In my free time I enjoy running, cooking with my roommates, and spending time with my dog.
