Research Lab Technician
I was incredibly honored to join the Kaczorowski Lab as a research technician focusing on the genetic modifiers of Huntington’s Disease. I graduated from the University of Michigan in 2024 with a B.S. in Neuroscience and a B.A. in Art & Design. I am very excited to deepen my neuroscience knowledge with hands-on experience, and to apply my design background to improve scientific communication.
Some of my favorite parts of the Kaczorowski Lab are the wide variety of research topics and the numerous techniques used for investigation. I love learning as much as possible from everyone in the lab, and believe that this exposure will help me in grad school, which I hope to begin in Fall 2027. My current research interests include epigenetics, the causes and mechanisms of mental disorders, and overall, how changes in small-scale molecules can lead to behavioral changes of a whole organism.
In my free time I like to get cozy with my knitting and a good audiobook, or go outside and enjoy the beautiful Michigan nature!
