I earned my PhD in Neuroscience from Brown University in 2022, where my dissertation focused on a new signaling pathway mediating neuromuscular junction structure and excitability. For my postdoctoral research, I am using a genetically diverse Alzheimer’s disease model to uncover cell-type specific signatures of cognitive resilience in the excitatory cortical neuron proteome.
My long-term goal is to make a difference in the lives of patients with neurodegenerative disease by uncovering proteins and pathways that promote synaptic stability in the central and peripheral nervous systems.
